Saturated Greed
For my final class presentation, I created a passion driven black & white photography project focused on capturing raw emotion through a timeless aesthetic. Inspired by Richard Avedon and his vintage high contrast style I directed every aspect of the shoot, from set design and lighting to wardrobe styling. By collaborating closely with the models, I ensured each pose felt intentional and expressive, resulting in a cohesive visual story that reflects both my creative vision and art direction skills.
THE IDEA
“Saturated greed captures a world stripped of its comfort colors. In black and white, the images expose our restless hunger for stimulation, our need for everything to shine, pop, and distract us just to be satisfied. Beauty doesn’t need color to demand attention and that absence is what finally makes us see that sometimes our greed for color blinds us to the art of raw form and shape.”
